Imperial Cities Tour (9 days / 8 nights)
Day 1 - Frankfurt –WurzburgOn arrival in Frankfurt, take a train to Wurzburg. This lively city is the northern gateway to the Romantic Road, a trade route from the Middle Ages still traveled by visitors seeking the best of medieval Germany. Take a city tour of Wurzberg which includes a visit to the Residence- a real masterpiece from the baroque. Also worth seeing is the Juliusspital, the cathedrale and the city hall. Overnight in Wurzberg.

Day 2 - Wurzburg – NurembergToday take a train to Nuremberg. Nurembergs famous landmark, the Kaiserburg (Imperial Castle), towers above the Old town, which is protected by the 5 kilometers long city wall with its many towers. When exploring the beauty of Nuremburgs medieval Old Town one can start at the Kingsgate from where the timber framed buildings, the gothic Church of St Lawrence and the church of St. Sebaldus can be reached on foot. There is also a craft centre that will transport you to the medieval ages and a gingerbread bakery. Make sure to enjoy a Nuremberg Bratwurst along with a beer or a glass of Frankenwein. Day 3 - Nuremberg – PragueTake a Express bus to Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. Prague is also called the Golden City or a Pearl among cities and is a treasure chest for everyone who wants to experience history in a very lively and beautiful setting. The Hradschin( Prague castle) is the largest medieval castle complex in Europe. Here you will find the majestic dome and 21 chapels. Shrouded in legend is the Golden Alley with its little houses where the alchemists of the 16th century lived and worked. Overnight in Prague.

Day 4 – PragueEnjoy a city tour around Prague starting from a convenient downtown point (Nmaesti Republiky Nr.3). One of Pragues main attractions is the Old Town Hall with its Town Hall Clock (Orloj) which was first installed in 1410. Watch the procession of the twelve Apostles, an hourly event which one should not miss. In the afternoon take a leisurely cruise to see the historical centre of Prague while passing 8 bridges. It is an excellent way to relax in Prague. In the evening you are free to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Prague.

Day 5 - Prague – ViennaTake a train from Prague to Vienna. The capitals imperial buildings and state opera houses stand as proud reminders of a bygone era. Day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 6 – ViennaEnjoy the hop-on-hop-off Vienna City tour. Vienna city tour which will introduce you to the most important sights of the Austrian capital. Driving around the famous Ringstrasse, Viennas main boulevard, pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the National Theatre, the City Hall and the University. The highlight of the tour is visit to Schonbrunn Palace. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 7 - Vienna – SalzburgToday take a train to Salzburg (aprrox. 3.20 hrs). Arrive Salzburg and check into your hotel. Later get picked up from your hotel for the unforgettable The Sound of Music tour. This tour will help you to relive the true story of the Von Trapp family. This tour takes you through the historical city and to the beautiful lakes and mountain areas known as the Salzkammergut, a famous musical and cultural centre. The highlights and film locations of the Sound of Music, such as the beautiful gardens in Hellbrunn (where Liesl and Rolf sang I am 16 going on 17), and the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 8 - Salzburg – MunichTake a train from Salzburg to Munich. Arrive Munich, the home to some 1.5 million people, is the capital of Bavaria and one of Germanys major cultural centers. Enjoy a hop-on-hop-off tour of Munich. Visit Nymphenburg Castle, the baroque palace which was once the summer residence of the Bavarian monarchs and the Residence. Explore the Olympia Stadium and Allianz Arena, located in the north of Munich and the futuristically designed football stadium. Munichs historical city centre of Hofbraeuhaus with the worlds most famous beer hall is very popular among tourists and locals. Overnight in Munich.

Day 9 - End of TourThis morning depart to the airport or continue your stay in Germany on your own.

Cancellation policy for all Guided coach tours / unescorted tours is as below except the packages mentioned separately:
Upto 45 days prior to departure, all funds paid will be refunded in full, less an administrative charge of Euro 30 per person. Additional cancellation charges are to be paid if cancellation is received -
  • 45 to 30 days prior to departure: 10% or Euro 30 whichever is higher.
  • 29 to 15 days prior to departure: 25% of the tour price.
  • 14 to 3 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour price.
  • Within 3 days prior to departure: 100% of the price.
No refunds are applicable for no- shows and unused portions during the course of the tour.

  • 29 days -18 days – 50 % cancellation fees
  • 17 days – 0 days – 100 % cancellation fees.

  • 62 days to 32 days prior to departure date - 50% of tour price.
  • 31 days to 3 days prior to departure date - 80% of tour price.
  • 3 days to 0 day prior to departure date - 100% of tour price.
